The Leon County Farm Bureau works to preserve and promote agriculture, and to protect the American family farming way of life.
The Leon County Farm Bureau was founded over 60 years ago and currently has over 2500 members. LCFB is a voluntary, non-governmental, non-profit membership organization of agricultural producers and individuals that promote agriculture and agricultural education. Our members are also dedicated to the support and preservation of agriculture throughout Leon County and Florida.
As a grass-roots organization, farmers are provided a united voice to protect their common interests and to promote agriculture through public relations and educational programs such as Ag in the Classroom. LCFB advocates and supports the economic advancement of agriculture while maintaining a balance with the appropriate management of natural resources.
The Leon County Farm Bureau is affiliated with a nationwide network of Farm Bureaus' organized at the county, state, and national levels.
